Hi guys, I'm a "newbie" here, but i just picked an original C-800 Tilt Cab tractor, Model #T-567 on Ebay. Not sure if i can post this here or not, but i'd like to do the model as a Roadway Express city delivery tractor. Therefore i have 2 questions...#1 where can i get Roadway Express decals, #2 is brake fluid still an acceptable way to remove chrome plating? Thanks. Sorry if i posted this in the wrong place, like i said, i'm a newbie.

Hi there
Brake fluid works but Mr Muscle oven cleaner spray foam I think is quicker. Also good for taking paint off too.
Is corrosive so watch your skin and eyes with both.

Brake fluid Bad!! From what I've heard, never used it. I use Super Clean degreaser(purple stuff, formerly Castrol Super Clean), it will strip chrome while you watch...fast stuff! !!!WARNING!!! Use latex gloves because this stuff also removes skin! Mack DM600 has Roadway decals if you have that kit handy.

See the next Trucker's Corner in Model Cars magazine for my version of the C900 tractor.

I'm up for a Mack conversion. What was the name of the company that produced those bodies?
